CLE: Conflict Management and Professionalism

Conflict Management and Professionalism

This self-paced CLE was developed and provided with funding from the Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionalism (CJCP). Our primary goal is to provide a learning opportunity for attorneys regarding the impact of conflict in accomplishing the Lawyer’s Creed and Aspirational Statement on professionalism which says, “We should remember, and we should help our clients remember, that the way in which our clients resolve their disputes defines part of the character of our society and we should act accordingly.” There is no better time than now for attorneys, legal professionals, mediators, and community members in need of legal services to band together in pursuit of connectedness, community, and responsibility to serve others through professionalism.

This online self-paced course has been approved by the State Bar of Georgia for attorneys to receive a certificate and 1 CLE in professionalism upon completion.

In addition, the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution (GODR) has approved the course for registered neutrals to receive 1 CE hour upon completion.*

Next Steps

Registration

* Per the ADR Rules for Neutrals, the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution will allow a mediator to submit a CE for credit once during the span of their registration. This means if you submit the certificate to receive 1 CE credit in 2023, you are unable to retake and resubmit again in 2024 or beyond. If you are in need to additional CE hours, please contact our team at info@mediationsavannah.com. Our Center provides a number of CE opportunities each year that you may register to attend.
